Is Your Breath So Bad That You Need To Eat Soap?
Posted on August 5, 2010 · Leave a CommentBe Prepared National Fresh Breath Day is August 6th
As a parent you understand that it is your responsibility to teach your child to brush their teeth. If you smell their breath as they walk out of the door to go to school and it stinks you’ll tell them to go back into the apartment and brush their teeth.
But what about coworkers with bad breath. Or if the shoe was on the other foot and you were the parent or the coworker with bad breath. Would you want for your child or fellow coworker to let you know of this odor coming so liberally from the front of your face? And how would you prefer to be told?
Here are a few examples of how you Should Not handle bad breath situations with coworkers:
“Hey, Dragon Breath, catch this gum!”
“Whoa! Your breath smells like a can of hot garbage, please turn that way!?”
Or “Here chew on this soap it might help your breath.”
Just be considerate because bad breath is serious. If you Google “bad breath and coworker” there are over 1.8 million webpages dedicated to this topic.
Dealing with bad breath
Keeping breath fresheners with you is always a good idea. Drink lots of water and stay away from harsh foods when you have important meetings or dates.
Most cases of bad breath can be cured with a simple adjustment in the diet but if you notice a chronic issue then you need to talk your local dentist about solutions.
